摘要
为了阐明超氧物歧化酶(SOD)活性减缓甘薯逆境伤害的作用,选用58个甘薯品种在强光、高温、干旱逆境下进行处理,测定其光抑制反应。结果表明,SOD活性原有水平与诱导增加的水平对光抑制反应有很大差异。SOD活性水平高及其诱导增加大的品种,光抑制程度小,品种抗逆性强,反之结果也相反。因此SOD活性可以作为甘薯种质资源抗逆性筛选的参数之一。
The response of SOD activity to a stress environment for sweet potato cultivars was investigated by subjecting detached leaves to a high light intensity (1000 μmolm^(-2)s^(-1),high temperatures (35-40℃) and a water deficit. Difference in stress-induced SOD activity was found among cultivars. Based upon the initial and stress-induced SOD activities, 130 cultivars tested were divided into 2 groups. 107 showed lower initial and stress-induced SOD activities while the other 23 showed higher initial and stress-induced SOD activities which sustained for a longer time after stress.To elucidate the role of SOD activity in alleviating stress injury, 49 sweet potato cultivars were selected from the 2 groups to test their photosynthesis inhibited by high light intensity. The results suggested that cultivars with high initial and stress-induced SOD activities were more tolerant to photoinhibition than those with low initial and stress -induced SOD activities. Again, 5 cultivars known as drought-resistant were used to examine the relationship between SOD activity and resistance to water stress, using photoinhibition degree as a parameter. It was found that there was a positive correlation between these two characters. Consequently, it is suggested that the level of SOD activities, initial and stress-induced, might be used as a useful parameter for screening stress-tolerant germplasm resources in sweet potato for breeding purpose.
