摘要
古代英语和古代汉语的语序迵异,但经过历史演变,至现代两种语言的基本语序已逐渐固定为SVO形式。在探讨英汉语序演变过程的基础上来分析这一现象的成因,认为人类认知思维模式的相似性和两种语言文化的不断发展与交融是其主要原因。
Although there is a great difference between old English and old Chinese concerning word order, the basic word order of the two languages in the modern time, through historical evolution, has been gradually settled as SVO form. Based on the description of the processes of the evolution and final fixation of the two languages＇ word order, this article is going to analyze the main reasons behind, namely： the similarity of human＇s cognitive and thinking mode and the constant development and mingling of the two languages and cultures.
