摘要
跨世纪的上海将建成国际经济、金融、贸易中心之一，并发展成为国际大都市．这一功能的转变和目标的确立实质上是上海城市国际化和现代化发展过程．从深层次上分析，上海建设国际大都市是以上海城市持续发展为前提条件，城市的国际化和现代化都统一于城市持续发展过程之中，而城市地域空间结构优化是城市持续发展的重要影响因素和主要研究内容之一．本文根据城市持续发展的一般理论，通过对上海城市功能转换导致用地置换的分析，并结合当今国际大城市地域空间发展趋势及上海城市地域空间结构现状，探讨了上海城市地域空间结构优化的途径．
Optimization of geographic spatial structure is an important aspect and main content of studying urban sustainable development. Through analyzing land use transformation which is based on urban functional changes, combining the trend of international metropolises and current situation of shanghai urban land use structure, this paper discusses the route of optimization of geographic spatial structure for Shanghai metropolis
