A Study of the Evolution of Ethical Considerations of Chinese Engineers:Based on a Historic Inquiry into the Revisions of the Ethic Code of China Institute of Engineer from 1933 to 1996

摘要本文从技术与社会的视角对中国工程师学会1933年到1996年之间《中国工程师信条》的内容修订进行考察,在与美国工程师社团伦理守则进行比较的基础上,分析《中国工程师信条》历次修订所蕴含的工程师伦理意识的变迁,并讨论导致变迁的影响因素。 From a perspective of the social study of technology, this paper investigates the first formulation of the ethical code of China Institute of Engineer (CIE) in 1933 and the revisions adopted in 1941 and 1996. After comparing CIE code of ethics to contemporary codes approved by American engineer societies respectively, the authors explore the ethical considerations of CIE and analyze the factors which influenced the ethical considerations of engineers.
