摘要
糖尿病视网膜病变(diabetic retinopathy,DR)是糖尿病最常见和最严重的微血管并发症之一,目前发病机制尚未明确。氧化应激与多种代谢异常、细胞因子活化以及细胞凋亡等关系密切并相互作用,在DR的发生、发展过程中可能发挥了关键性作用。抗氧化剂阻滞DR的作用在动物实验中得以证实,但临床试验结果却不确定。目前有大量关于氧化应激与DR的研究,并且也有众多学者致力于抗氧化剂在DR治疗作用方面的研究,本文就相关研究进展做一综述。
Diabetic retinopathy is one of the most frequent and severe microangium complications of diabetes mellitus, and the exact mechanism of its development remains elusive. Diabetes induced metabolic abnor-malities, activation of severe cytokines and cell apoptosis, which are implicated in the development of diabetic retinopathy, appear to be influenced by elevated oxidative stress, which plays a key role in the pathogenesis of diabetic retinopathy. There is accumulating evidence from animal studies that antioxidants have beneficial effects on the development of diabetic retinopathy, but the results from clinical trials are ambiguous. We focused on the relationship between oxidative stress and diabetic retinopathy and the potential of antioxidants.
