Sodium, kalium, magnesium, zinc, iron and copper are basic elements for life, which play a very important role in regulation metabolism and the functional order of organism, and it is significative to determine those metal elements and evaluate the functional life quality. Those six metal elements in the heart, spleen, lung, kidney and liver of guinea pig were determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. The result shows that the relative standard deviation(RSD) is smaller than 5.0%, and the addition standard recovery (ASR) is 96. 4%-105. 3% for all the elements. The experimental method is simple, rapid and high accurate, precise, and useful for determination of those six metal elements in organism of guinea pig.
