摘要
语言有字面义和超越字面意义之上的特殊意义或语境中的意义。本文旨在探讨由隐喻而诱发的歧义理解,并对隐喻歧义句的隐喻理解及加工机制进行述评。对隐喻句的加工实质上是利用隐喻的认知机理对语句进行歧义排除的过程。对隐喻句中词语或隐喻结构的意义进行语境条件下意义确定的目的在于使其意义更加具体化、语境化,其结果是超越了字面意义的疆域,避免了语言歧义的发生。
Language meaning can be divided into literal meaning and the special meaning that goes beyond the literal meaning or the meaning in context. This paper aims to discuss the metaphor-induced ambiguity interpretation and comment on the metaphor interpretation and its processing mechanism as well. To determine the meaning of the word in a metaphorical sentence or structure in a context is to specify and contextualize the meaning,and thereby the interpretation goes beyond the territory of literal meaning, and this ambiguity is avoided and eliminated.
