摘要
蛇信仰是包括闽都在内的整个闽文化圈的重要文化内容之一,从图腾信仰的两个标志来看,其性质显然是种族信仰。与此相联系,其文化内涵则主要包含了"创生"和"避灾、兴雨"两层意象,这些都是先民对蛇神化的自然结果。
The snake belief is one of the main contents of the Min cultural range, including the capital of Min area. Judging from the two symbols of the totem belief, it is obvious that the snake belief belongs to the phyletic be-lief. Therefore, its cultural connotation mainly consists of the following two types of image, “life initiating” and “escape of the disasters and rain producing”, both of which are the natural result of the ancient people＇s apotheosis of snake.
