EVA/MCA复合体系的燃烧性能与炭层结构

Flammable properties and the charred layer structure of EVA/MCA composites

摘要 以乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物(EVA)为基体树脂,以氰尿酸三聚氰胺(MCA)为阻燃剂,研究了EVA/MCA复合体系的燃烧性能,并对燃烧炭层进行了分析。结果表明,MCA改善了EVA/MCA体系的燃烧性能,消除了燃烧滴落现象,抑制了黑烟的产生。随着MCA添加量逐渐增大,氧指数由18.0%提高到26.1%,当MCA添加量为80质量份时,体系成为难燃材料。当MCA添加量分别为50,60,80质量份时,EVA/MCA复合体系的阻燃级别依次可以达到FV-2级,FV-1级,FV-0级。随着MCA添加量的增加,燃烧试样表面的炭层逐渐增多,致密程度提高;随着燃烧时间的增加,燃烧试样内部的孔洞增多,孔径变大。 The authors prepared a kind of flame retardant composite, taking ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVC) as matrix resin and melamine cyanurate (MCA) as fame retardant. The flammability of EVA/MCA composite was studied; the charred layers were analyzed. The results show that MCA can improve the flammability of EVA/MCA, eliminates the drippage phenomenon in burning and suppress the emission of smoke during combustion. As the dosage of MCA escalates, the limiting oxygen index (LOI) increases from 18.0% to 26.1%; in case of adding 80 phr of MCA, the composite system becomes an uninflammable material. When filling 50, 60, 80 phr of MCA respectively, the flame-retardant grade of the composite system comes up to the requirements of FV-2, FV-1 and FV-0, respectively. As the dosage of MCA rises, the charred layers on the surface of the burning specimen augment and become more compact. There appears a significant increment in number and also in diameter of the apertures inside the burning specimen with the combustion period.
