摘要
正确的理解对于谚语翻译至关重要的,从英语谚语的语用功能和它所传递的文化信息方面分析谚语的特征,并借鉴L.Venuti的"异化与归化"策略来阐述英语谚语的翻译策略。
Correct understanding is important to proverb translation. Basic character of English proverbs is analyzed from the pragmatic function and cultural information the proverbs deliver, and English proverb translation strategy is expounded from foreignizing and domesticating strategy of L. Venuti.
