摘要
近年来文学的文化研究,实际上存在着相互关联但又有不同的几种倾向,一是从文化的视角观照文学,二是文学的文化批评,三是社会文化语境里的文学文本研究。在文化研究成为显学的时代,文学自身特性的探讨亦引人关注,于是有对"纯文学"的讨论,对"文学性"问题的回顾,对文学"经典"形成过程的思考,为对中国文学的"现代性"进行反思,提供了从整体上观察20世纪中国文学发展的理论视阈。其焦点是文艺审美现代性与社会世俗现代性的矛盾。现代性已成为后现代语境里的一项未竟的事业,面对文学消费的大众化与时尚化,以及图像文本与网络文学对传统的文学感知和表达方式的颠覆,文学研究除了坚持追求人生意义和生命价值的伟大文学传统外,是否还可以从后经典叙事学和互文性理论获得一种非文学的另类思路?
Cultural studies of literature have been carried out, over recent years, in several related but different ways which are, a) viewing literature from the perspective of culture; b) cultural criticism of literature and c) textual studies of literature in the context of culture. In a time when cultural studies are so prominent, attentions however, are also drawn to discussions on the characteristics of literature itself, for example, discussions on pure literature, tracing on the problem of literariness, and reflecting on the forming process of literary canon. Reflecting on the modernity of Chinese literature provides us with a theoretical horizon which allows us to see Chinese literature of the 20th century as a whole. The focus lies in the contradiction of aesthetical modernity and social modernity. Modernity has become an unfinished cause in the postmodern context. The consumption of literature is being oriented by the masses and fashion, as icon text and cyber literature are subverting the traditional way of feeling and expressing: facing all these, will the study of Chinese literature, besides sticking to the great tradition of pursuing the meaning and value of life, find new non-literary ways in post-classic narratology and intertextual theory?
