摘要
华裔美国文学研究已然成为国内美国文学研究中的一个热点,但调研和文献检索的结果显示国内的华裔美国文学研究走的只是文化批评一途。本文通过对文学研究和批评的对象和内容进行再审视,指出华裔美国文学研究中“唯文化批评”存在的“理由”及其弊端和悖谬,认为华裔美国文学研究应走出“唯文化批评”的误区,还文学批评的本来面目。
The study of Chinese American literature has become a hot spot in American literature study in China, but a survey shows that the studies in China almost all adopt the perspective of cultural criticism. The present paper analyses the 'reasons' for the singularity of this perspective and its malpractice and paradox by reexamining the objects and contents of literary study and criticism. It argues that Chinese American literature study should overstep the area of error of limiting itself to cultural criticism.
