摘要
本文报道从辽宁省凤城县的柞树根部土壤中采获的六索属线虫一新种,命名为凤城六索线虫,新种Hexametmis fengchengensis sp.nov.
A species of mermithid nematodes was found in the soil near the roots of toothes oaks in Fengcheng County (40°27’N, 124°5’E), Llaoning Province of China in May, 1986. It is identified as a new species of the genus Hexamermis.Hexamermis fengchengensis sp. nov. (figs. 1-8)Adults: Body elongate, white in colour, tapered in head legion, and with a round tail region. Cuticle thick; criss-cross fibres well marked; six longitudinal chords, in dorsal, ventral, lateral and submedial positions; lateral chords contain 2-3 rows of cells; six cephalic papillae arranged in one plane, on the left and right sides; amphids small, situated slightly behind and dorsal to lateral cephalic papillae, opening adjacent to the lateral cephalic papillary nerve endings; mouth terminal; oesophagus slightly flexuous; nerve ring clear. Measurements are in micrometre unless otherwise indicated. The valva of H. fengchengensis is located before the midbody region; the spicules are longer and the cuticle is thicker than the H. agrotis; and their morphometric measurements are quite different as shown in the Chinese text. Besides, their pre-parasitic juveniles are also different.
