本文描述寄生于中华按蚊成虫的索科线虫一新属一新种。该新种的雌虫行孤雌生殖。此系蚊体寄生索科线虫行孤雌生殖的首次报告。
A new genus and species of Mermithidae(Nematoda, Enoplida) firstly described in this paper was found parasitizing in the adult of Anopheles sinensis in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. The female of this new species reproduces parthenogenetically. Thraustomermis gen. nov. Generic diagnosis—This new genus is characterized by adult female threadlike, no caudal filament, six hypodermal cords, six cephalic papillae, without lip papill- ae, amphids relatively small, cuticle lacking visible cross fibers very thin and eas- ily ruptured, vulva protruding obviously, vagina barrel-shaped, canal of the vagi- na straight and parallel to the transverse body axis, not lying at any angle to the body axis. Stylet presents in preparasitic juveniles while postparasitic juveniles with a short tail appendage parasitizing in body cavity of aquatic insect. Some characters of this new genus are allied to Filipjevimermis Polezhentsev and Artyukhovsky (1958) , Tunicamermis schuurmans Stekhoven and Mawson (1955) and Mesomermis Daday (1911) , but all the characters stated above are sufficient to distinguish the new genus from them. Type of the genus Thraustomermis. Thraustomermis chengduensis sp.nov. Diagnosis-Female reproduces parthenogenetically. No male was recovered. Fe- male elongate, six hypodermal cords, mouth terminal, six cephic papillae in same plane, lip papillae absent, amphid relatively small, cuticle lacking cross fib- ers very thin and easily ruptured, vulva protruding obviously, vagina barrel sha- ped, and canal of the vagina straight and parallel to the transverse body axis.Me- asurements are as follows: Body length (n=19) 19.6mm (11.5—30.0) .Maximum width 220μ. Size of am- phids 11.2×3. 5μm. Distance from nerve ring to head 189μm. V=27.949.233.9 Thickness of cuticle at anterior end 1.2μm, while at the vulva 1.4μm, at the posterior end 1.6μm. Egg 66×57μm. Preparasitic juveniles 313×15μm. Postparasitic juveniles 23.5mm (n= 7) in length. Tail appendage 47μm.
