摘要
当前终身教育已经由最初的"思潮"或"理念"发展成为一种教育实践或社会运动;鉴于各国国情,这种实践或运动呈现出多样化的态势与局面;各国有不同的终身教育模式;并在终身教育价值取向上具有多元化的特点;随着终身教育理论与实践的发展,这一概念渐有被终身学习所取代的趋势。
Since its naissance in the 1960s,Lifelong Education(LE) has been evolved from originally being thought or idea to becoming a type of educational practice step by step.It is gradually favored by governments and organizations in different counties all over the world.In China,although started relatively late,lifelong education is now developing rapidly.Because of the economic and educational circumstances differs,and the challenges faced vary,the lifelong education practices in different countries are in diverse situations and phases:some are establishing the status of lifelong education by legislation,some are founding special institutions to impulse the steps,while some others drive the lifelong education by means of actualizing plans and campaigns.It is also taking on a corresponding variety when referring to the lifelong education modes,which mean the mode of compensatory education mode,continuing professional education mode,lifelong education mode suiting desire of democratization,and lifelong learning mode with leisure orientation.In accordance,diversification has also been the character of the lifelong education value.Along with the progress in theory and practice,the concept of lifelong education will gently be replaced by that of lifelong learning.
