摘要
eui基因作为"杂交稻种子生产的第四遗传要素",二十多年来,备受国内外遗传育种学者的关注。最近,关于水稻穗颈伸长基因EUI的定位与克隆、功能鉴定及eui基因在水稻育种中的应用取得了较大的进展。本文概述了长穗颈基因eui的发现、定位与克隆、作用机制及其在水稻育种中的应用。
The elongated uppermost intemode ( eui ) genes, known as "the Fourth Genetic Element in Hybrid Rice Production", attracted many scientists all over the world in the past 20 years. Recently, the achievements were obtained in the EUI gene isolation and functional identification. This paper reviewed the advances of eui genes in the discoveries, the mapping and isolations, the functional mechanisms, and the utilization in the eui-hybrid rice breeding program.
