Research of a New Steel for Heavy Duty Wagon Wheels

摘要 针对重载车轮的损伤特点,研制了一种以C、Si为主要强化元素的铁素体-珠光体型车轮新材料,通过C、Si含量的合理配合,使车轮材料具备了高强度并保持了较高的韧性,同时具有合理的相变特性。装车运行试验表明,与目前常用的车轮材料相比,这种车轮材料的抗机械损伤性能和抗热损伤性能得到了较好的协调,更适合重载运输条件。 A new ferrite-pearlite wheel steel with C and Si as main strengthening elements was developed aiming at the damage characteristics of heavy duty wagon wheel. With rational C and Si contents, the steel has high strength, relatively high toughness and reasonable phase transformation characteristics. On-line loading test showed that the new steel has a better balance between anti-mechanical and anti-thermal damage properties and is more suitable for heavy duty transportation than conventional wheel steel.
