摘要
职业成功是指一个人所累积起来的积极的、与工作相关的成果或心理上的成就感,它由客观和主观两部分构成。客观的职业成功指标包括总体报酬、晋升次数和其他能表示个人成就的外部标志;主观的职业成功被认为是个人感觉到的对工作和职业发展结果的积极评价。影响职业成功的因素主要有人口统计学变量、人力资本特征、动机人格特征以及家庭、职业群体、组织和社会变量。在知识经济条件下,人们更加注重主观的职业成功,职业成功观呈现出更加多元化的色彩,而职业成功观必将对个体的职业态度和职业行为产生重要影响。
We define career success as the positive psychological or work-related outcomes or achievements one has accumulated as a result of one's work experiences. It includes both objective and subjective elements. Objective career success is observable career accomplishment, which can be measured a- gainst the metrics of pay and ascendancy. Subjective career success can be defined as the individual's feelings of accomplishment and satisfaction with their careers. There is a link between objective suc- cess and subjective appraisals in that the individual defines success based, in part, on the objective ac- complishments. In fact, past research generally has found that objective and subjective success are positively but moderately related. We emphasize that career success criteria reflect one's career value.
