摘要
模糊语言理论为数字模糊语义翻译开辟了新的途径。英汉数字在民间语言和文学作品中具有模糊语义,重在表义、言情、显势。本文从英汉数字模糊语义出发,结合毛泽东诗词中“万”字的翻译探讨数字模糊语义的翻译原则和翻译方法,寄望于对模糊语言研究和模糊语义数字翻译研究有所启示。
The theory of fuzziness in fuzzy linguistics provides a new way for translation of numerals. In the folk language and literary works, numerals with semantic fuzziness mainly express meaning, emotion and linguistic power. On the basis of semantic fuzziness, the paper explores the three principles and five techniques to translate English and Chinese numerals with ＂ten thousand＂ in Poems of Mao Tsetung as an example in hope to bring lightness to study of fuzzy language and translation of numerals with semantic fuzziness.
