摘要
近年来，河南省驻马店地区的黄牛发生以“猝死”为主要特征的疫病。经病原分离与鉴定，结果表明该病病原为魏氏梭菌。
A disease characterized by sudden death occurred in yellow cattle in Zhumadian Prefecture recently.The main clinical manifestations were dyspnea,cyanosis in oral mucous membrane,abdominal distension,screaming and coma.Pathogen isolation and identification revealed that the pathogen was a Gram positive bacillus with slight square form in both ends.The colonies on blood plate appeared to be smooth,round and greyish with radiate streaks on the surface and a double hemolytic ring around.Abdominal injection with the isolate caused death in mice and injection of rabbit by otic vein induced typical 'foam liver'.Biochemical test showed that the pathogen of sudden death in cattle in Zhumadian area was Clostridium welchii.
