摘要
From June 28 to July 2, 2006, at the invitation of Prof. Vladislav Yu. Khomich, President of Russian Foundation for Basic Research （RFBR）, an NSFC delegation headed by NSFC President Chen Yiyu paid a visit to Russia. Established in 1992 and as a result of science and technology system reform and sci-tech globalization, RFBR has seen a continuous increase of funding for basic research in the federal budget for R＆D in the past years The two sides expressed wishes to further the collaboration and to explore new ways to push the cooperation more effective and fruitful. The delegation also visited the Zoological Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences.
