摘要
On Sep. 12, 2006, Prof. Chen Yiyu, President of NSFC met with Dr. Gustavo Chapela, President of Consejo Nacional de Cienciay Tecnologia （CONACYT）of Mexico. At the invitation of Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology, the delegation visited China on a mission of exploring channels to promote bilateral science and technology cooperation with relevant science and technology administrative agencies between China and Mexico. The meeting between top administrators of the two sides is the second time of its kind since the visit of the ex-President of CONACYT in August 2004, through which mutual understanding and communications are further enhanced. President Chapela extended his invitation to President Chen Yiyu to pay a visit to Mexico at his time of convenience to further oromote bilateral coooeration and communication.
