摘要
车牌定位是车牌自动识别系统的关键步骤.算法首先对图像进行预处理,然后进行数学形态学操作,得到若干个候选区域,最后根据车牌颜色特征选取真正的车牌区域.实验表明该方法定位速度快,定位效果好.
Vehicle license plate location is the key part of automatic vehicle license plate recognition system. First, image preprocessing is adopted, which is then followed by mathematical morphology operations. Then some preparative areas are obtained. At last, the real license plate area is obtained according to the color characteristics of the license plate. The experiments show that the algorithm has the advantages of fast locating speed and high accuracy.
