摘要
从修辞和语用的角度,对英语中的rhetorical question,anastrophe和汉语的设问,倒装两种修辞方法,进行了比较.通过比较指出:英语中的rhetorical question和汉语的设问,在形式和作用上是一致的,能够增强语言感染力和表达效果,并广泛应用于书面语及口语中.英语中的anastrophe和汉语的倒装都具有强调和承接上下文的作用.二者不同之处在于:汉语的倒装多用于口语交际,而英语的anastrophe多出现于书面语;此外,anastrophe还有平衡句式的作用.通过对比,可以加深对英汉两种语言的理解,提高语言学习效率,尤其是提高英语写作及翻译能力.
This essay compares the rhetorical question and anastrophe in English and Chinese Language in rhetorical and pragmatics respect. It points out that the function and formation of the rhetorical question in the two languages are consistent, that is, enforcing the appeal and effect and widespread applying to written and oral language. Emphasis and coherence are the function of the anastrophe. The difference between the two languages is that the anastrophe is often used in oral language in Chinese,whereas,it is used in written form in English. Moreover,the anastrophe in English. can also keep the balance of sentence. Comparison can deepen the understanding of the two languages and improve the efficiency of language learning, especially improve the ability to write English composition and translate English into Chinese.
