摘要
现代新儒家是上世纪20年代出现的思想流派,针对现代教育制度的弊端,现代新儒家把书院作为重要的教育形式予以继承,力图将书院的人文主义教育精神发扬光大,表现在:道德归宗、文化救国济世的办学宗旨;立足中学、博采西学的知识观念;研修结合、死守善道的治学精神。新儒家的这些努力对今天的教育改革无疑有重要的启示。
Neo-Confucianism is the thought school in the 1920s. In terms of the defects of modem educational system, Neo-Confucianism regards the ancient academy as an important form to be succeeded and does its best to develop the spirit of humanistic education. That is: seeing the moral as the essence of education and achieving the national prosperity through cultural renaissance; viewing national culture as the dominant element while accepting the western notion of knowledge; linking self-learning and self-research with self-cultivation and persevering the Dao (i.e.the true and inherent virtue and spirit). All of these are very important to the present education reform.
