摘要
本文讨论了英语格律诗和汉语格律诗各自的特点,认为英语诗歌格律经历了由音步格式到节拍的演绎过程,而诗行中汉字声调上的平仄变化则体现了汉诗的基本格律。通过英汉古典诗歌的格律比较,文章指出了两者间的差异以及在英语格律诗歌汉译方面所产生的争鸣。
This essay discusses respectively the characteristics of the English rhythmic poems and the Chinese classical rhythmic poems. It shows that the basic units of English poetic rhythm have evolved from the kinds of feet to measure while the level and oblique tones of the Chinese letters in a verse constitute the rhythm of the Chinese classical poems. Based on the comparison between the English rhythmic poems and the Chinese classical poems, the essay shows their differences and the disputes about the arts and skills of the English--into--Chinese poets translation.
