Deep Submicron Trends and Implications on Electronic Design Automation

摘要 深亚微米工艺的日趋成熟为电子设计自动化(EDA)提供了空前广阔的空间,也使之面临许多崭新的课题,其中,最引人注目的是快速电路模拟技术和互连问题,本文综述了这些领域的最新成就,并提出了EDA领域中若干亟待解决的课题。 The deep submicron technology becomes mature day by day,which is paving the way for a wealth of opportunities for the electronic design automation(EDA).On the other hand,EDA has to face some challenges,and the fast timing simulation and interconnect-driven techniques are the most eye-catching ones.After reviewing the recent advancements in the above-mentioned fields,this paper addresses some imperative problems related to EDA.
