摘要
学业成绩测试是评价学生学习和发展水平的重要手段,多年来这类考试在命题、考试实施和评分等方面存在着许多问题,给英语教学和评估带来一定的负面影响。
English achievement tests, an important tool to assess the English level of students, have shown a series of problems in test construction as in well as scoring and the interpretation of test scores, and brought out some side effects to English teaching and learning. Based on the analysis of these problems, the article tries to discuss the feasibility of item bank construction of Integrated English Test and the requirements for and techniques of the construction.
