摘要
观察了陆地棉(Gossypium hirsutum L.)与雷蒙德氏棉(G.raimondii U(?)br)种间杂种三倍体F_1、六倍体 F_1和六倍体 F_2、四倍体 F_2以及两个亲本种的早期胚胎发育行为,结果表明,三倍体 F_1有98%以上的胚珠不能形成胚囊,自交和回交完全不育;六倍体 F_1和 F_2及四倍体 F_2均有90%以上的胚珠能形成胚囊,自交和回交部分可育;但其初期胚胎发育仍表现很大的不正常性。
Studies were conducted on the embryo sac development and early embryogenesis in thetriploid F_1(2n=3x=39),hexaploid F_1 and F_2(2n=6x=78),and tetraploidF_2(2n=4x=52),of G.hirsutum(2n=4x=52)×G.raimondii(2n=2x=26),and theirparents.1).No pollen grains of the triploid F_1 germinated on its stigma;those of thehexaploid F_1 and F_2,and the tetraploid F_2 partially germinated and produced pollentubes;but many of them showed abnormal growth in the styles and could not enter theembryo sacs.2).More than 98% of the triploid F_1 ovules had no embryo sacs,whilemore than 90% of the hexaploid F_1 and F_2,and the tetraploid F_2 ovules had.3).The par-ents had sacs in all the observed ovules.4).All the hybrid generations showed a lot of ab-normalities at the earlier embryogenesis stages after selfing or backcrossing to G.hirsutum100% of G.hirsutum ovules formed 16 endosperm nuclei at 72 hrs.after selfing,and only8.7% the hexaploid F_1 ovules formed 2—8,but none of the hexaploid F_2 formed nucleiat the same time.The percentages of the F_1 and F_2 ovules with endosperm nuclei at 72 hrs.After backcrossing to G.hirsutum were much higher than those after selfing.Out of 148 ovules observed in G.raimondii,none of them showed any embryological behavour from24 to 72 hrs.after selfing.
