Application of Second Generation Wavelet in JPEG2000

摘要 JPEG2000是最新的静态图像压缩标准,其核心算法是小波变换。本文详细介绍了第二代小波的构造方法—基于因式分解的提升格式,然后以Daubechies(9,7)小波和LeGall(5,3)小波为例探讨了第二代小波在JPEG2000标准中的应用。 JPEG2000 is a new still image compression standard for serving current and future applications. One of the important algoritham s in JPEG2000 is the wave.let transform. In this paper, the lifting scheme, a construction method of the second generation wave.let, is presented in details. At last, the applications of second generation wavelet in JPEG2000 are discussed with the Daubechies (9, 7) wavdet and Le Gall (5, 3) wavelet.
