摘要
测定了催化水合乙二醇工艺中使用的NY1催化剂在二甘醇、乙二醇、甘油以及乙二醇与甘油混合溶剂中的溶解度,并探讨了上述饱和溶液的粘度随温度的变化关系。实验结果表明:催化剂NY1在甘油中的溶解度最大;NY1较适宜的溶剂为20%乙二醇与80%甘油组成的混合溶剂。若用该混合溶剂代替原工艺中的纯乙二醇作为催化剂循环使用的溶剂,可以减少循环量,节省能耗,进一步完善均相催化水合乙二醇工艺。
The solubility of catalyst NY1 in the solvents of diethylene glycol( DEG), ethylene glycol (EG), glycerol and mixed solvents of EG and glycerol respectively were determined and the relations between viscosity and temperature of above saturated solutions were discussed. The results showed that the solubility of NY1 is maximal in the glycerol and the better solvent of NY1 is the mixed solvent of 20% EG and 80% glycerol. If the mixed solvent of 20% EG and 80% glycerol is used as the solvent instead of EG in the process of ethylene glycol synthesized by homogeneous catalytic hydration of ethylene oxide (EO) to recycle the catalyst, it will reduce the quantity of circulate solution, save the energy and make progress for the original process.
