Statistics of industrial accidents in China during the period from May to June in 2005

摘要 统计了2005年5-6月国内发生的各种安全事故486起,包括矿业事故、交通事故、爆炸事故、火灾、毒物泄露和中毒及其他事故。统计表明,在这些事故中,矿业事故最多,占59.47%,平均每天4.7起事故,其次是交通事故(27.98%)、毒物泄露和中毒(3.91%)、爆炸事故(3.70%)、其他事故(3.70%)、火灾(1.23%)。486起事故共死亡1366人,伤1565人,死亡人数的百分比分别为矿业事故40.85%、交通事故40.12%、爆炸事故5.34%、其他事故5.34%、泄露中毒5.20%、火灾3.15%;受伤人数的百分比分别为交通事故35.72%、爆炸事故30.54%、矿业事故23.90%、其他事故4.60%、泄露中毒3.58%、火灾1.66%。 The present paper reports the statistical data and analysis of industrial accidents in China during the period from May to June in 2005. There are 486 accidents in total, which can be summarized and classified into six categories: mining industry, traffic, explosion, leakage and poisoning, fire, and the others. Of all the 486 accidents, the percentages of the six categories can be illustrated according to their frequency order 59.47%, 27.98%, 3.70%, 3.91%, 1.23%, and 3.70% respectively. The total casualty is 1366 and the percentages for the six categories are 40.85%, 40.12%, 5.34% , 5.20% , 3.15% , and 5.34% respectively. The number of the wounded is 1565 and the percentages for the six categories are 23.90%, 35.72%, 30.54%, 3.58%, 1.66%, and 4.60% respectively. The analyses of the statistics show that the top ten provinces and cities with the highest accident number are: Chongqing (70 accidents), Sichuan(60), Hunan(42), Guizhou(29), Shaanxi (28), Guangdong(23), Fujian(23), Yunnan(22), Hebei(21), and Jilin(20). The top ten provinces and cities with the largest casualty number are: Sichuan( 144 dead) , Chongqing(100) , Guangdong (96), Hebei(91), Guizhou(88), Yunnan(83), Shanxi(83), Hunan(76), Fujian(73), and Anhui(56). And the top ten provinces and cities with the biggest wounded number are: Shanxi(388 wounded), Henan(190), Yunnan(109), Hunan(100), Sichuan(97), Guangdong(92), Anhui(89), Fujian(64), Chongqing(62), and Hubei (55) .
