摘要
论述横向切割头的几何设计，即外形轮廓和截齿空间布置，为计算机辅助设计切割头提供模型。用数学方法精确布置截齿位置，证明横向切割头最佳外形轮廓为回转抛物面。将引进的国外先进掘进机切割头，采用反求工程技术，作出误差修正，取得有价值的研究成果。
In this paper the arrangement of the pick positions has been studed in mathematics and the optimum outline of transverse axle cutter head is recommended as paraboloid of revolution. Therefore, a new mathematical model was established for CAD of the cutterhead.
