摘要
目的动态研究川崎病(KD)患儿血清血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)含量变化规律,探讨VEGF与KD的关系。方法用酶联免疫吸附试验方法,动态测定48例KD急性期及其缓解期患儿血清VEGF含量。结果①KD急性期血清VEGF含量高于KD缓解期及正常对照组(q分别为13.35、19.07,P均<0.01);KD缓解期血清VEGF含量下降,但较对照组差异仍有统计学意义(q=6.18,P<0.05)。②非冠状动脉损害组VEGF含量明显高于冠状动脉损害组(q=6.87,P<0.01)。③KD急性期患儿血VEGF与C反应蛋白(CRP)水平存在显著正相关(r=0.615,P<0.01)。结论VEGF参与KD的病理生理过程,KD患儿血清VEGF升高初期可能为血管内皮损伤后的保护性反应,而持续不降的VEGF可能与KD冠状动脉损害相关。
Objective Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is an important regulator of angiogenesis and blood vessel permeability. Kawasaki disease (KD) is characterized by systemic vasculitis with increased vascular permeability,implying a possible role of VEGF in the pathogenesis of KD. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the change of VEGF in serum of children with KD and possible relationship between VEGF and children with KD. Methods Fourty-eight children with KD were studied; thirteen of the cases had coronary artery lesions and 35 had non-coronary artery lesions; twenty-five healthy children were enrolled as control subjects. Serum was collected from each case during acute stage and remission with KD. VEGF content was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Results ①The content of serum VEGF in children with KD was significtantly higher at the acute stage of KD than that at their clinical remission stage and than that of the normal control group(q was 13.35, 19.07 respectively, P<0.01); significant difference in serum VEGF was found between the clinical remission stage and the normal control group (q=6.18, P<0.05). ②The concentration of serum VEGF at the acute stage of KD with non-coronary artery lesions was significantly higher than that of the children with coronary artery lesions(q=6.87,P<0.01).③The concentration of serum VEGF at the acute stage of KD was positively correlated with those of CRP(r=0.615, P<0.01). Conculsion Our results raise the possibility that VEGF is involved in the pathogenesis of KD, especially in the development of coronary artery lesions.Further study is needed to clarify the biologic effect of VEGF on coronary arteries in KD.
