For the study of the blood vessels of the heart, we used animals of various species and human hearts of various age groups. The wall of the fish heart was built like a sponge with many cavities of sinusoid character. Amphibia had remained the spongy structure of the wall of the heart but without coronary arteries. Reptiles showed in the out part a compact layer of the myocardium which causes the obliteration of certain sinusoids and the formation of smallest vessels. Mammals could have a myocardium of a compact structure which influenced a further obliteeation of sinusoids.In his ontogenesis man had repeasted certain stages of phylogenesis, since in human heart wall had more or less developed sinusoids, luminal ducts. All these reprsent compensatory mechanisms for man 's adapting to various conditions of myocardial vascularization during different periods of his life and pathological conditions.The mechanism of myocardial revascularization was srudied in mice and rabbits'hearts.Myocardial channels from the epicardial surface through the endocardium of the left ventricular wall were made with XeCL Excimer laser. The results demonstrated:When 308nm Excimer laser irradiated on the left ventricular wall, vaporized channels were made. The channels made by laser were smooth and clear, without charring and debris.And it had shown that cellular damage surrounding them was minimal. There were two different change zones which were eosinophilic degenerating muscular zone and muscle plasma condense zone around the laser channesl. These channels were full of blood when the ventricular wall was penetrated. It demonstrated that blood might be passed from ventricular cavity into the laser channel. There were many dilated vessels appearing in laser channels graduallv. They anastomosed each other. The vessels surrounding the caser channls were engorded. These results suggested that the laser channels might provides the blood supply to the ischemic myocardium from the ventricular cavity.
