摘要
本文从缩略语和外来词及其翻译的角度列举出语言中的几种懒惰现象 ,并尝试从语用、功能、修辞和汉语本身的特点等方面对该现象进行剖析。得出的结论是 ,该懒惰现象具有两重性 ,既有积极的一面 ,也有消极的一面。它在扩充汉语词汇、统一译名和提高信息传递的效率等方面发挥着积极作用 ,同时 ,也可能影响到交际活动 (书面 /口头 )的正常进行 ,甚至导致交际失败。但是 ,从总体上讲 。
The article analyzes the phenomenon of laziness in the translation of abbreviations and loanwords from the perspective of pragmatics, function, rhetoric and the characteristics of the Chinese language. The conclusion goes that there exist in language twofold effects, both positive and negative. This phenomenon of laziness functions as the enlargement of Chinese vocabulary total, the name unification of loanwords, and the promotion of the efficiency to transmit information. This being the case, it would also show some negative effect on communication activities, either written or spoken, even cause these activities to fail. On the whole, the positive side of laziness in language takes an upper hand over its negative one.
