摘要
本文论述格赖斯有关会话含义的一些基本概念、合作原则及其在会话含义推断过程中的应用等。作者在文中探讨了会话含义的理解问题 ,也提到关联理论的提出者对格赖斯会话含义理论的质疑及他们以演绎推理的方法对话语理解中的推断过程的研究。
The present paper comments on Grice's theory of conversational implicature,covering some basic concepts,cooperative principle and its application to a hearer's inference of such an implied meaning. In this paper,the author also presents his view of conversational implicature and mentions the query to Grice's theory by the advocators of relevance theory and their inferential process of conversation comprehension.
