摘要
本研究采用共时有声思维和访谈方法收集数据,调查中国中级英语学习者阅读中单项生词词义推断策略使用情况。旨在回答两个问题:(1)不同水平被试者在生词词义推断过程中使用策略上是否有区别?(2)在只运用一项推断策略时,两组被试所使用生词词义推断策略有何区别?研究表明:不同水平被试在运用单项词义推断策略时在策略类型和推断结果方面有明显差异。
This study examines the lexical inferencing strategy adopted by intermediate Chinese EFL learners in reading tasks,and explores how language proficiency affects their inferencing accuracy.Concurrent think-aloud and follow-up interview were utilized to collect data that were processed by statistical analysis.The results indicate that significant differences exist in preferred strategy type,the number of strategies and inferencing accuracy between the two groups of subjects at varied language proficiency.
