摘要
美国低年级儿童阅读教学改革已进入第三年,其推广的阅读教学法实施效果不理想,受到了各方的质疑。民众批评该教学法:缺乏科学性,违背教学规律,有失公正,限制了教师及学校的活动空间。该阅读教学法过于"标准化"及教学改革的政治化倾向是其遭受指责的根本原因,民众对阅读教学的批评将导致美国新的阅读教学改革的产生。
The reform in the teaching of reading to the children at lower grades in American schools has entered into the third year. However the results of the extended teaching methods of reading are not satisfactory and it is under the various criticisms from the public. The criticism targets at that it is not scientific, contradictory to the conventional practice of school teaching, lacking justice, as well as constraining the flexibility of the activities of teachers and schools. Analyses show that the root of the blame comes from its over standardization of the teaching of reading and its political tendency. The current public criticism will lead to another round of reform in reading pedagogy in American schools.
