摘要
英语修辞学是中国高校英语专业的一门课程,这门课程的传统课堂教学模式表现为:修辞理论的被动传授,只重视辞格教学,教学方式单一,讲解多操练少。建构主义因其科学的理论构架成为当前国际教育改革的主流思想,把建构主义理论应用于英语修辞学课堂教学,构建起新的英语修辞学课堂教学模式,可使中国的英语修辞学教育踏上一个新台阶。
English Rhetoric is a course for the third year college students majoring in English.The traditional classroom teaching patterns are: the passive teaching of the rhetoric theories;much emphasis on the figures of speech;the monotonous teaching method and less practice.Constructivism is now becoming popular in the international education innovation because of its scientific frame.The application of constructivism in English rhetoric classroom teaching will do much help in establishing a new and reasonable teaching pattern.
