摘要
商标中常常蕴涵着丰富的人文、地域特色,美学特征,因而商标译名除服从翻译的基本规律之外,还必须注重研究目的语国家的文化因素。商标译名应将语言艺术,商业心理,商品知识和文化差异有机地融和在一起。本文从跨文化角度对商标翻译进行了分析,通过实例介绍了商标翻译的一些规律和方法,以及应当遵循的原则。
Trademark usually has rich connotation of culture and embodies distinctive features of humanism,region and aesthetics.No current principles can guarantee a premium quality of trademark translation,which requires translators not only well versed in language,cultural connotation and related business knowledge,but also to have the capacity to integrate them into trademark translation.By illustrating diction,cultural elements and conversion of Chinese trademark,this paper tries to present some basic rules and possible approaches to trademark translation.
