Amidst the unique challenges faced by rural educators is their sense of decent work influenced by levels of social support,career self-efficacy,and marginalization.To investigate these relationships,we surveyed 435 ru...Amidst the unique challenges faced by rural educators is their sense of decent work influenced by levels of social support,career self-efficacy,and marginalization.To investigate these relationships,we surveyed 435 rural school teachers(females=69.32%,mean years teaching experience=13.6,SD=7.7 years).The Structural Equation Modeling results indicated that social support positively predicts teachers’perceptions of decent work.Career self-efficacy mediated the relationship between social support and a higher sense of decent work,while marginalization mediated the relationship such that lower social support predicted lower perceptions of decent work.Career self-efficacy and marginalization also had a sequential mediation relationship:higher social support enhanced career self-efficacy,which in turn reduced marginalization experiences,ultimately improving teachers’perceptions of decent work.These findings align with the predictions of Social Cognitive Career Theory and the Psychology of Working Theory,demonstrating that environmental supports enhance personal psychological resources,reduce marginalization risks,and promote positive work-related outcomes.The study findings highlight the necessity for education departments to improve rural teachers’perceptions of decent work by providing social support to foster positive work experiences for teachers at high risk for marginalization and diminished career self-efficacy.展开更多

In this paper, we propose a new structure of optical system to reduce the retroreflector effect of a cat eye target. Decentered field lens structure is adopted in the design without sacrificing imaging quality and clear aperture. An imaging system with±30° field of view is taken for example. The detailed design and simulation results are presented. The results indicate that this kind of optical system can reduce the retroreflection signal substantially and maintain acceptable imaging performance.展开更多

The study of GPN places great emphasis on the two issues. Based on the survey of Ningbo apparel industry, four key components of decent work in China apparel industry are discussed. The role of buyers in promoting decent work in suppliers can't be neglected. There are significant correlations between business type and some indicators of decent work. Though the majority of the apparel firms are engaging in processing, more and more firms are involved in marketing and branding. The upgrading trajectory of China apparel industry leads to the economic and social performances.展开更多
Purpose:Corneal topograph-guided laser subepithelial keratomileusis (LASEK) can effectively correct decentered ablation occurring post laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) and to enhance our understanding and diagnosi...Purpose:Corneal topograph-guided laser subepithelial keratomileusis (LASEK) can effectively correct decentered ablation occurring post laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) and to enhance our understanding and diagnosis of decentered ablation following LASIK. Methods:Previous studies in the relevant literature are reviewed, and a case report is provided. Results:A patient with high myopia undergoing LASIK in both eyes presented with distorted vision in the left eye, which interfered with the vision in the right eye and caused blurred vision in both eyes. The patient was unable to see objects with both eyes. After receiving corneal topography-guided LASEK,the signs of distorted vision in the left eye and bilateral blurred vision were significantly alleviated,and the patient could see objects with both eyes simultaneously. Conclusion: Clinical ophthalmologists should be aware of the occurrence of decentered ablation after LASIK. Corneal topography-guided LASEK is an efficacious tool for correcting decentered ablation.展开更多

Index tracking is known to be a passive portfolio management strategy by replicating the performance of a real or virtual index.However,the full replication,which considers all the asserts consisted of the index,often...Index tracking is known to be a passive portfolio management strategy by replicating the performance of a real or virtual index.However,the full replication,which considers all the asserts consisted of the index,often suffers from small and illiquid positions and large transaction costs.Thus,it is preferred to purchase sparse portfolios.Besides,existing literature pointed out the phenomenon of the co-movement in assert returns,indicating that the index tracking problems possibly contain group structures together with sparsity.Based on the consideration of the grouping effects and sparsity in index tracking problems,this paper proposes a grouping sparse index tracking model with nonnegative restrictions.We derive a modified version of coordinate decent algorithm for solving the model.The asymptotic properties are also discussed in detail.To show the efficiency of the model,we apply it into the constrained index tracking problem in Shanghai stock market,i.e.tracking SSE 50 Index.By selecting about 10 stocks,the result shows that nonnegative group lasso outperforms nonnegative lasso in assert allocation.展开更多
