Methods: take 70 nursing students majoring in nursing of grade 2018 in our hospital as an example. They were randomly divided into control group and experimental group, with 35 in each group. The control group applied the traditional teaching mode and the experimental group applied the CDIO mode. The application effects of the two groups were compared. Results: the critical thinking ability of nursing students in the experimental group taught by CDIO mode was significantly better than that in the traditional teaching control group;The difference was significant (P < 0.05);The communication ability of nursing students in the experimental group taught by CDIO mode was significantly better than that in the traditional teaching control group;The difference was significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: the application effect of CDIO mode in clinical practice teaching of psychiatric department is remarkable, which is worthy of popularization and application.展开更多
