Application of the Double-difference Relocation Method Combined with Waveform Cross-correlation on the Three Gorges Reservoir Seismicity

In this paper,we use the double difference location method based on waveform crosscorrelation algorithm for precise positioning of the Three Gorges Reservoir( TGR)earthquakes and analysis of seismic activity. First,we use the bi-spectrum cross-correlation method to analyze the seismic waveform data of TGR encrypted networks from March,2009 to December,2010,and evaluate the quality of waveform cross-correlation analysis.Combined with the waveform cross-correlation of data obtained, we use the double difference method to relocate the earthquake position. The results show that location precision using bi-spectrum verified waveform cross-correlation data is higher than that by using other types of data,and the mean 2 sig-error in EW,NS and UD are 3.2 m,3.9 m and 6.2 m,respectively. For the relocation of the Three Gorges Reservoir earthquakes,the results show that the micro-earthquakes along the Shenlongxi river in the Badong reservoir area obviously show the characteristics of three linear zones with nearly east-west direction,which is in accordance with the small faults and carbonate strata line of the neotectonic period,revealing the reservoir water main along the underground rivers or caves permeated and induced seismic activity. The stronger earthquakes may have resulted from small earthquakes through the active layers. 展开更多

Moreover, as a useful tool, the "repeating earthquake" approach has also been used in the assessment of the accuracy of seismic phase picking,hypocenter location,fault structure and physics of earthquake sources,as well as the study of earthquake prediction. Seismic source locations can characterize the spatial and temporal distributions of seismic sources,and can provide important basic data for earthquake disaster monitoring,fault activity characterization,and fracture growth interpretation.Waveform stacking-based location methods invert the source locations by focusing the source energy with multichannel waveforms,and these methods exhibit a high level of automation and noise-resistance.Taking the cross-correlation stacking(CCS)method as an example,this work attempts to study the influential factors of waveform stacking-based methods,and introduces a comprehensive performance evaluation scheme based on multiple parameters and indicators.The waveform data are from field monitoring of induced microseismicity in the Changning region(southern Sichuan Basin of China).Synthetic and field data tests reveal the impacts of three categories of factors on waveform stacking-based location:velocity model,monitoring array,and waveform complexity.The location performance is evaluated and further improved in terms of the source imaging resolution and location error.Denser array monitoring contributes to better constraining source depth and location reliability,but the combined impact of multiple factors,such as velocity model uncertainty and multiple seismic phases,increases the complexity of locating field microseismic events.Finally,the aspects of location uncertainty,phase detection,and artificial intelligencebased location are discussed. 展开更多

The sub-land/sub-pit affects the characteristic of the tracking error signal which is generated by the conventional differential phase detection (DPD) method in the signal waveform modulation multi-level (SWML) read-only disc. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a new tracking error detection method using amplitude difference. Based on the diffraction theory, the amplitude difference is proportional to the tracking error and is feasible to be used for obtaining the off-track information. The experimental system of the amplitude difference detection method is developed. The experimental results show that the tracking error signal derived from the new method has better performance in uniformity and signal-to-noise ratio than that derived from the conventional DPD method in the SWML read-only disc. 展开更多

The fi rst arrival waveform inversion(FAWI)has a strong nonlinearity due to the objective function using L2 parametrization.When the initial velocity is not accurate,the inversion can easily fall into local minima.In the full waveform inversion method,adding a cross-correlation function to the objective function can eff ectively reduce the nonlinearity of the inversion process.In this paper,the nonlinearity of this process is reduced by introducing the correlation objective function into the FAWI and by deriving the corresponding gradient formula.We then combine the first-arrival wave travel-time tomography with the FAWI to form a set of inversion processes.This paper uses the limited memory Broyden-Fletcher-Goldfarb-Shanno(L-BFGS)algorithm to improve the computational effi ciency of inversion and solve the problem of the low effi ciency of the FAWI method.The overthrust model and fi eld data test show that the method used in this paper can eff ectively reduce the nonlinearity of inversion and improve the inversion calculation effi ciency at the same time. 展开更多

The precision and reliability of first-arrival picking are crucial for determining the accuracy of geological structure inversion using active source ocean bottom seismometer(OBS)refraction data.Traditional methods for first-arrival picking based on sample points are characterized by theoretical errors,especially in low-sampling-frequency OBS data because the travel time of seismic waves is not an integer multiple of the sampling interval.In this paper,a first-arrival picking method that utilizes the spatial waveform variation characteristics of active source OBS data is presented.First,the distribution law of theoretical error is examined;adjacent traces exhibit variation characteristics in their waveforms.Second,a label cross-correlation superposition method for extracting highfrequency signals is presented to enhance the first-arrival picking precision.Results from synthetic and field data verify that the proposed approach is robust,successfully overcomes the limitations of low sampling frequency,and achieves precise outcomes that are comparable with those of high-sampling-frequency data. 展开更多

Radars and their applications were, for a long time, reserved to national defense, air security or weather service domains. For a few years, with the emergence of new technologies, radar applications have been developed and have become known in the civil domain. In particular, the arrival of UWB—Ultra-Wideband technology allows the design of compact and low-cost radars with multiple fields of application. In this paper, we focus on road applications, such as driving assistance with the objective of increasing safety and reducing accidents. In classical UWB radar systems, Gaussian and monocycle pulses are commonly used. In previous works, original waveforms based on orthogonal functions (Hermite and Gegenbauer) were proposed. These provide a good spatial resolution, suitable for radar detection. Another advantage of these waveforms is their multiple access capability, due to their orthogonality. The aim of the study presented in this article is to compare simulation and experimental results obtained, especially for short-range anticollision radar application, using these waveforms in one part and Gaussian and monocycle pulses in the other part. The originality of this paper relies on the new approach. Indeed, this comparison study using these waveforms has never been done before. Finally, some examples of real experiments in a real road environment with different waveforms are presented and analysed. 展开更多

For this reason,three non-dimensional parameters are presented,namely waveform repeatability factor,waveform jumping factor and waveform similarity factor,called as waveform factors jointly,which are based on statistics analysis for the waveform and sensitive to the change of signal waveform. When they are used to extract the fault trend of rotary machines as a kind of technology of instrument and meter,they can reflect the fault trend better than the vibration intensity,peak amplitude and margin index. 展开更多

针对电穿孔研究与应用对于特殊脉冲波形的需求,本文基于全桥逆变结构的双极性全固态Marx拓扑,提出了一种由多个标准脉冲功率模块组成的分布式任意波形高压脉冲电源。每个标准模块均包含完整的主电路、驱动电路以及控制电路,且内置了通... 针对电穿孔研究与应用对于特殊脉冲波形的需求,本文基于全桥逆变结构的双极性全固态Marx拓扑,提出了一种由多个标准脉冲功率模块组成的分布式任意波形高压脉冲电源。每个标准模块均包含完整的主电路、驱动电路以及控制电路,且内置了通信协议,具有单模块独立工作与多模块组合协同工作等多种工作模式。通过对模块中不同开关的状态进行控制,可以实现任意高压脉冲波形的输出。基于电源-负载匹配分析了关键器件参数对输出的影响,搭建了电源的拓扑仿真模型,验证了其正确性与可行性。在此基础上研制了可输出±8 kV、33阶电平任意波形的实验样机,并搭建出微藻电穿孔实验平台。在控制脉冲电压幅值为8kV、能量为0.4 J条件下进行多种波形的微藻电穿孔实验充分论证了该分布式电源在可控电穿孔领域的适用性。 展开更多

中国页岩气剩余探明技术可采储量预测:灰色波形与灰色多维度模型结合

近年来,随着页岩气产业的高速发展,页岩气已成为推动中国中长期能源结构调整、助力碳减排进程的关键力量之一。总体看来,中国页岩气产业尚处于勘探早中期阶段,预测页岩气剩余探明技术可采储量,可以为中国页岩气产业的规划和高质量发展... 近年来,随着页岩气产业的高速发展,页岩气已成为推动中国中长期能源结构调整、助力碳减排进程的关键力量之一。总体看来,中国页岩气产业尚处于勘探早中期阶段,预测页岩气剩余探明技术可采储量,可以为中国页岩气产业的规划和高质量发展提供重要参考。为此,根据中国页岩气产业“贫信息”“少数据”的基础现状特征,结合灰色理论系统预测模型的适用条件,以页岩气新增探明地质储量作为相关因素变量,使用灰色多维度预测模型GM(1.2)首次从宏观角度分析了中国页岩气剩余探明技术可采储量的发展趋势。研究结果表明:①融入弱化缓冲算子能使灰色波形预测模型较为准确地预测未来中国页岩气新增探明地质储量的变化趋势,预测结果揭示中国页岩气新增探明地质储量整体呈现良好增长趋势;②灰色多维度预测模型GM(1.2)的预测结果显示,中国页岩气剩余探明技术可采储量将会在2027年达8679.2×10^(8)m^(3),2030年突破10000×10^(8)m^(3),中国页岩气产业具备高质量发展基础。结论认为,随着“双碳”目标的不断推进,在产业政策支持和勘探开发技术进步的双重作用下,中国页岩气产业仍将保持快速高质量的发展趋势。 展开更多

This study proposes a novel scheme of a cross- correlation frequency-resolved optical gating (X-FROG) measurement for an optical based on the sum frequency arbitrary waveform (OAW) generation (SFG) effect of a periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) waveguide. Based on the SFG effect and combined with the principal component generalized projects algorithm on a matrix, the theory model of the scheme is established. Using Matlab, the proposed OAW measurement X-FROG scheme using the PPLN waveguide is simulated and studied. Simulation results show that a rectangular pulse is a suitable gate pulse because of its low errors. Moreover, the increased complexity of OAW and phase mismatch decrease measurement accuracy. 展开更多

提出了一种基于玻璃通孔(TGV)高场不对称波形离子迁移谱(FAIMS)分析器结构,研制出微型化、低噪声FAIMS气体传感器,并对其环境噪声屏蔽和气体检测性能进行了测试。研究结果表明,通过垂直引线的屏蔽电极设计,该传感器的检测基线噪声低至16... 提出了一种基于玻璃通孔(TGV)高场不对称波形离子迁移谱(FAIMS)分析器结构,研制出微型化、低噪声FAIMS气体传感器,并对其环境噪声屏蔽和气体检测性能进行了测试。研究结果表明,通过垂直引线的屏蔽电极设计,该传感器的检测基线噪声低至16 fA,具有良好的噪声屏蔽性能。选择典型挥发性有机物乙苯作为测试样品,评估了FAIMS气体传感器的响应特性,并获得了乙苯的谱图和响应曲线。在体积分数为1.3×10^(-6)的乙苯环境中,该传感器的响应时间为0.74 s,恢复时间为0.55 s,表现出快速、可重复性和高稳定性的响应特性。此外,分别探讨了相对湿度、乙苯体积分数(0.033×10^(-6)~1×10^(-6))与信号强度之间的关系。实验结果表明,信号强度随着相对湿度的增加而降低,并与气体体积分数呈现良好的线性关系,拟合线性系数达到98.8%。FAIMS气体传感器对乙苯的检测限为0.034×10^(-6),展现出高灵敏度和优异的检测性能。 展开更多
