Objective This study aimed to explore the association between body mass index(BMI)and mortality based on the 10-year population-based multicenter prospective study.Methods A general population-based multicenter prospe...Objective This study aimed to explore the association between body mass index(BMI)and mortality based on the 10-year population-based multicenter prospective study.Methods A general population-based multicenter prospective study was conducted at four sites in rural China between 2013 and 2023.Multivariate Cox proportional hazards models and restricted cubic spline analyses were used to assess the association between BMI and mortality.Stratified analyses were performed based on the individual characteristics of the participants.Results Overall,19,107 participants with a sum of 163,095 person-years were included and 1,910 participants died.The underweight(<18.5 kg/m^(2))presented an increase in all-cause mortality(adjusted hazards ratio[aHR]=2.00,95%confidence interval[CI]:1.66–2.41),while overweight(≥24.0 to<28.0 kg/m^(2))and obesity(≥28.0 kg/m^(2))presented a decrease with an aHR of 0.61(95%CI:0.52–0.73)and 0.51(95%CI:0.37–0.70),respectively.Overweight(aHR=0.76,95%CI:0.67–0.86)and mild obesity(aHR=0.72,95%CI:0.59–0.87)had a positive impact on mortality in people older than 60 years.All-2 cause mortality decreased rapidly until reaching a BMI of 25.7 kg/m(aHR=0.95,95%CI:0.92–0.98)and increased slightly above that value,indicating a U-shaped association.The beneficial impact of being overweight on mortality was robust in most subgroups and sensitivity analyses.Conclusion This study provides additional evidence that overweight and mild obesity may be inversely related to the risk of death in individuals older than 60 years.Therefore,it is essential to consider age differences when formulating health and weight management strategies.展开更多
BACKGROUND Negative pressure wound therapy(NPWT)is a potential treatment for diabetic foot ulcers(DFUs),although the mechanisms underlying its effectiveness remain unclear.This study posits that NPWT may improve wound...BACKGROUND Negative pressure wound therapy(NPWT)is a potential treatment for diabetic foot ulcers(DFUs),although the mechanisms underlying its effectiveness remain unclear.This study posits that NPWT may improve wound healing by promoting angiogenesis and activating the nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2(Nrf2)/Kelch-like epichlorohydrin-associated protein 1(Keap1)signaling pathway,which is crucial for the body’s defense against oxidative stress.The hypothesis indicates that enhancing antioxidant defenses through NPWT may positively affect the healing process.There are still limited data on the roles of Nrf2,its downstream signaling molecules,and angiogenesis markers in patients undergoing NPWT.AIM To study the mechanism of NPWT in DFUs.METHODS This study included a total of 40 hospitalized patients with DFUs from Xuzhou Central Hospital,who were divided into Control group(n=21)and NPWT group(n=19).The levels of Nrf2 and Keap1 were analyzed in the granulation tissue 7 days after treatment.The wound condition,erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),procalcitonin(PCT),interleukin 6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α),vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),basic fibroblast growth factor(b-FGF),cluster of differentiation 31(CD31),and levels of oxidative stress[malondialdehyde(MDA),superoxide dismutase(SOD),catalase(CAT),and total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC)]were analyzed before and 7 days after treatment by the Mann-Whitney U test.RESULTS The NPWT group demonstrated significant improvements in wound healing compared to the control group after 7 days of treatment.The levels of ESR,PCT,IL-6,and TNF-αwere significantly reduced in the NPWT group compared to the control group(P<0.05),while the levels of CD31,VEGF,and b-FGF showed significant increases(P<0.05).The NPWT group exhibited notable elevations in the levels of Nrf2 and its downstream targets(SOD,CAT,and T-AOC),accompanied by decreases in the levels of Keap1 and MDA(P<0.05).CONCLUSION NPWT may contribute to the healing of DFUs by potentially reducing levels of oxidative stress.Its effects could possibly be enhanced through the action of Nrf2.展开更多
In thermal protection structures,controlling and optimizing the surface roughness of carbon/phenolic(C/Ph)composites can effectively improve thermal protection performance and ensure the safe operation of carriers in ...In thermal protection structures,controlling and optimizing the surface roughness of carbon/phenolic(C/Ph)composites can effectively improve thermal protection performance and ensure the safe operation of carriers in high-temperature environments.This paper introduces a machine learning(ML)framework to forecast the surface roughness of carbon-phenolic composites under various thermal conditions by employing an ML algorithm derived from historical experimental datasets.Firstly,ablation experiments and collection of surface roughness height data of C/Ph composites under different thermal environments were conducted in an electric arc wind tunnel.Then,an ML model based on Ridge regression is developed for surface roughness prediction.The model involves incorporating feature engineering to choose the most concise and pertinent features,as well as developing an ML model.The ML model considers thermal environment parameters and feature screened by feature engineering as inputs,and predicts the surface height as the output.The results demonstrate that the suggested ML framework effectively anticipates the surface shape and associated surface roughness parameters in various heat flow conditions.Compared with the conventional 3D confocal microscope scanning,the method can obtain the surface topography information of the same area in a much shorter time,thus significantly saving time and cost.展开更多
[Objectives]This study was conducted to improve the purification agent combination conditions for QuEChERS and establish a method for detecting the residues of 18 fungicides in animal-derived foods(fish,pork,milk,eggs...[Objectives]This study was conducted to improve the purification agent combination conditions for QuEChERS and establish a method for detecting the residues of 18 fungicides in animal-derived foods(fish,pork,milk,eggs,and pork liver)using high-performance liquid chromatography-triple quadrupole tandem mass spectrometry.[Methods]The samples were extracted with acetonitrile,purified with 885 mg of magnesium sulfate,150 mg of PSA(ethylenediamine-N-propylsilane silica gel),and 15 mg of GCB(graphitized carbon black),and analyzed using ACQUITY UPLC BEH C 18 as the chromatographic column with a mobile phase of acetonitrile-0.1%formic acid aqueous solution.[Results]The 18 fungicides showed good linearity in the range of 5.00–200.00μg/L,with correlation coefficients(R^(2))greater than 0.991.The limit of quantification(LOQ)was 0.01 mg/kg.The average recoveries ranged from 63.7%to 117.5%,and the relative standard deviations(RSDs)were between 0.22%and 6.33%.[Conclusions]This method is simple,rapid,and highly accurate,and provides technical reference for the detection and risk assessment of fungicides in animal-derived foods.展开更多
The operational state of distillation columns significantly impacts product quality and production efficiency.However,due to the complex operation and diverse influencing factors,ensuring the safety and efficient oper...The operational state of distillation columns significantly impacts product quality and production efficiency.However,due to the complex operation and diverse influencing factors,ensuring the safety and efficient operation of the distillation columns becomes paramount.This research combines passive acoustic monitoring with artificial intelligence techniques,proposed a technology based on residual network(ResNet),which involves the transformation of the acoustic signals emitted by three distillation columns under different operating states.The acoustic signals were initially in one-dimensional waveform format and then converted into two-dimensional Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficients spectrogram database using fast Fourier transform.Ultimately,this database was employed to train a ResNet for the purpose of identifying the operational states of the distillation columns.Through this approach,the operational states of distillation columns were monitored.Various faults,including flooding,entrainment,dry-tray,etc.,were diagnosed with an accuracy of 98.91%.Moreover,an intermediate transitional state between normal operation and fault was identified and accurately recognized by the proposed method.Under the transitional state,the acoustic signals achieved an accuracy of 97.85%on the ResNet,which enables early warnings before faults occur,enhancing the safety of chemical production processes.The approach presents a powerful tool for the monitoring and diagnosis of chemical equipment,particularly distillation columns,ensuring the safety and efficiency.展开更多

Methods: The patients were treated with paclitaxel 150 mg/m2 on dl; fractionated cisplatin 15 mg/m2 and continuous infusion 5-FU 600 mg/(mLd) intravenously on d 1-d5 of a 21-d cycle until disease progression or unacceptable toxicities. Results: Seventy-five patients have been enrolled, among which, 41 received PCF regimen as the first-line therapy (group A) and 34 received the regimen as the second-line therapy (group B) with the median age of 59 years old and Karnofsky performance status (KPS) score 〉80. Toxicities were analyzed in all 75 patients. Seventy-one patients were evaluable for efficacy. The median overall survival (mOS) was 12.0 months (95% CI: 7.9-16.2 months) in group A and 7.3 months (95% CI: 4.3-10.3 months) in group B, respectively. The median progression-free survival (mPFS) was 5.7 months (95% CI: 4.1-7.2 months) and 5.0 months (95% CI: 3.1-6.9 months), respectively. The response rate (CR^PR) was 40% (16/40; 95% CI: 24.9-56.7%) in group A and 22.6% (7/31; 95% CI: 9.6-41.1%) in group B. Major grade 3 or 4 adverse events include neutropenia (41.3 %), febrile neutropenia (9.3 %), nausea/anorexia (10.7%), and vomiting (5.3 %). There was no treatment-related death. Conclusions: The combination chemotherapy with PCF is active and tolerable as first-line and second- line therapy in Chinese patients with advanced gastric and EGJ adenocarcinoma. The response and survival of PCF are same as those of DCF, but the tolerance is much better.展开更多

The correlation between RAI refractoriness an...Objective: Patients with radioactive iodine-refractory differentiated thyroid cancer(RAIR-DTC) are often diagnosed with delay and constrained to limited treatment options. The correlation between RAI refractoriness and the underlying genetic characteristics has not been extensively studied.Methods: Adult patients with distant metastatic DTC were enrolled and assigned to undergo next-generation sequencing of a customized 26-gene panel(Thyro Lead). Patients were classified into RAIR-DTC or non-RAIR groups to determine the differences in clinicopathological and molecular characteristics. Molecular risk stratification(MRS) was constructed based on the association between molecular alterations identified and RAI refractoriness, and the results were classified as high, intermediate or low MRS.Results: A total of 220 patients with distant metastases were included, 63.2% of whom were identified as RAIRDTC. Genetic alterations were identified in 90% of all the patients, with BRAF(59.7% vs. 17.3%), TERT promoter(43.9% vs. 7.4%), and TP53 mutations(11.5% vs. 3.7%) being more prevalent in the RAIR-DTC group than in the non-RAIR group, except for RET fusions(15.8% vs. 39.5%), which had the opposite pattern. BRAF and TERT promoter are independent predictors of RAIR-DTC, accounting for 67.6% of patients with RAIR-DTC. MRS was strongly associated with RAI refractoriness(P<0.001), with an odds ratio(OR) of high to low MRS of 7.52 [95%confidence interval(95% CI), 3.96-14.28;P<0.001] and an OR of intermediate to low MRS of 3.20(95% CI,1.01-10.14;P=0.041).Conclusions: Molecular alterations were associated with RAI refractoriness, with BRAF and TERT promoter mutations being the predominant contributors, followed by TP53 and DICER1 mutations. MRS might serve as a valuable tool for both prognosticating clinical outcomes and directing precision-based therapeutic interventions.展开更多

The microstructure was then analysed by optical microscopy(OM), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), and transmission electron microscopy(TEM) to probe the relationship between microstructure and properties. The results show that a new Ni_(5)Al_(3) phase is found, which grows gradually in β phase with serving time increasing,destroying the martensitic structure of the β phase, and degenerating the toughness of the β phase(approximately13.88% reduction). Therefore, the degradation of the βphase results in a sharp dropping of the resistance to stress accelerated grain boundary oxygen(SAGBO) during serving;thus, the intergranular fracture morphology degree increases with duration of service(almost 40% increase from the fractured surface). In addition, the strength of alloy will be gradually enhanced when the γ'phase becomes relatively bulky with serving time increasing due to considerable distortion of the dislocations as a result of the spacing of individual particles, in which any movement of the dislocation will have to overcome a larger number of obstacles per unit length.展开更多
The recently deployed Transition Region Explorer(TREx)-RGB(red-green-blue)all-sky imager(ASI)is designed to capture“true color”images of the aurora and airglow.Because the 557.7 nm green line is usually the brightes...The recently deployed Transition Region Explorer(TREx)-RGB(red-green-blue)all-sky imager(ASI)is designed to capture“true color”images of the aurora and airglow.Because the 557.7 nm green line is usually the brightest emission line in visible auroras,the green channel of a TREx-RGB camera is usually dominated by the 557.7 nm emission.Under this rationale,the TREx mission does not include a specific 557.7 nm imager and is designed to use the RGB green-channel data as a proxy for the 557.7 nm aurora.In this study,we present an initial effort to establish the conversion ratio or formula linking the RGB green-channel data to the absolute intensity of 557.7 nm auroras,which is crucial for quantitative uses of the RGB data.We illustrate two approaches:(1)through a comparison with the collocated measurement of green-line auroras from the TREx spectrograph,and(2)through a comparison with the modeled green-line intensity according to realistic electron precipitation flux measurements from low-Earth-orbit satellites,with the aid of an auroral transport model.We demonstrate the procedures and provide initial results for the TREx-RGB ASIs at the Rabbit Lake and Lucky Lake stations.The RGB response is found to be nonlinear.Empirical conversion ratios or formulas between RGB green-channel data and the green-line auroral intensity are given and can be applied immediately by TREx-RGB data users.The methodology established in this study will also be applicable to the upcoming SMILE ASI mission,which will adopt a similar RGB camera system in its deployment.展开更多
The 2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzyl(Hmb)backbone modification can prevent amide bond-mediated sidereactions(e.g.,aspartimide formation,peptide aggregation)by installing the removable Hmb group into a peptide bond,thus impro...The 2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzyl(Hmb)backbone modification can prevent amide bond-mediated sidereactions(e.g.,aspartimide formation,peptide aggregation)by installing the removable Hmb group into a peptide bond,thus improving the synthesis of long and challenging peptides and proteins.However,its use is largely precluded by the limited Hmb’s installation sites.In this report,an improved installation of Hmb(iHmb)method was developed to achieve the flexible installation and the convenient removal of Hmb.The iHmb method involves two critical steps:(1)oxidative diazotization of the readily installed 2-hydroxy-4-methoxy-5-amino-benzyl(Hmab)to give 2-hydroxy-4-methoxy-5-diazonium-benzyl(Hmdab)by combining soamyl nitrite(IAN)/HBF_(4),and(2)reductive elimination of Hmdab to give the desired Hmb by 1,2-ethanedithiol(EDT).The iHmb method enables the installation of Hmb at any primary amino acid including the highly sterically hindered amino acids(e.g.,valine and isoleucine).The practicality and utility of the iHmb method was demonstrated by one-shot solid-phase synthesis of a challenging aspartimide-prone peptide,the mirror-image version of a hydrophobic peptide and a long-chain peptide up to 76-residue.Furthermore,the iHmb method can be utilized to facilitate chemical protein ligation,as exemplified by the synthesis of the single-spanning membrane protein sarcolipin.The iHmb method expands the toolkit for peptide synthesis and ligation and facilitates the preparation of peptides/proteins.展开更多

Traditional numerical methods, such as the finite element method(FEM), often face a trade-off between calculation accuracy and efficiency. In this paper, we propose a quasi-smooth manifold element(QSME) method to address this challenge, and provide the accurate and efficient analysis of two-dimensional(2D) anisotropic heat conduction problems in composites with complex geometry. The QSME approach achieves high calculation precision by a high-order local approximation that ensures the first-order derivative continuity.The results demonstrate that the QSME method is robust and stable, offering both high accuracy and efficiency in the heat conduction analysis. With the same degrees of freedom(DOFs), the QSME method can achieve at least an order of magnitude higher calculation accuracy than the traditional FEM. Additionally, under the same level of calculation error, the QSME method requires 10 times fewer DOFs than the traditional FEM. The versatility of the proposed QSME method extends beyond anisotropic heat conduction problems in complex composites. The proposed QSME method can also be applied to other problems, including fluid flows, mechanical analyses, and other multi-field coupled problems, providing accurate and efficient numerical simulations.展开更多
The failure behavior of the three-dimensional(3D)woven composites under tension are evaluated via experimentation and simulation.To accurately depict the intricate geometry of the woven composites,including the fluctu...The failure behavior of the three-dimensional(3D)woven composites under tension are evaluated via experimentation and simulation.To accurately depict the intricate geometry of the woven composites,including the fluctuation of yarn paths,variations in cross-section,and resin distribution,the image-aided digital elements modeling approach is employed.Subsequently,to further assess both the tensile performance and damage response,a realistic voxel model is established with the integration of a well-suited progressive damage model.The obtained stress-strain curves align with the experimental results,and damage progression and underlying mechanisms involved are clearly revealed.Specifically,when subjected to warp tension,severe transverse damage and fiber bundle pull-out towards the warp yarns are observed within the curved section.Similarly,under weft loading,longitudinal damage is found to occur in the weft yarns,while the warp yarns suffer from transverse damage,leading to the formation of a smooth and brittle crack.Ultimately,the findings of this study hold potential to advance the engineering applications of the3D woven composites.展开更多
Objective:This study investigated the clinical significance of DICER1 mutations in patients with distant metastatic follicular cell-derived thyroid cancer(FDTC).Methods:This study included 310 Chinese patients with di...Objective:This study investigated the clinical significance of DICER1 mutations in patients with distant metastatic follicular cell-derived thyroid cancer(FDTC).Methods:This study included 310 Chinese patients with distant metastatic FDTC.We analyzed the interactions between DICER1 mutations and other gene alterations and compared the clinicopathological characteristics of patients with pathogenic(P)or likely pathogenic(LP)DICER1 mutations(n=9),other gene alterations(n=253),and no gene alterations(n=37).To compare FDTCs with different drivers,isolated BRAFV600E,RAS mutations,and RET fusions were compared with isolated DICER1 mutations.Results:The prevalence of DICER1 mutations was 6.5%(20/310)in the patient cohort.Among patients with DICER1 mutations,45%(9/20)harbored P or LP DICER1 variants and 55%(11/20)harbored DICER1 variants of uncertain significance(VUS).The coexistence of DICER1 mutations and other gene alterations was detected in65%(13/20)of patients.Compared with VUS,P or LP DICER1 variants were almost mutually exclusive with early driver alterations(such as BRAFV600E)(11.1%vs.81.8%,P=0.002)and more coexisted with late-hit events,particularly TP53 mutations(44.4%vs.27.3%,P=0.642).Clinically,compared with the no alteration and other alteration groups,the DICER1 mutation group exhibited larger primary tumors,higher poorly differentiated thyroid cancer proportion,more extrathyroidal extension,more extrapulmonary metastases,and higher radioactive iodine-refractory proportion(all P<0.05).Cases with isolated DICER1 mutations differed from those with isolated BRAFV600E and RET fusions in terms of tumor size,poorly differentiated thyroid cancer proportion,and metastatic sites,but were similar to cases with isolated RAS mutations in the high proportion of follicular thyroid cancer,N0,and extrapulmonary metastases.Conclusions:Mutation of DICER1 gene is a non-negligible molecular event and it may represent an aggressive subset of FDTCs.DICER1 has RAS-like clinical characteristics and DICER1-mutant tumors exhibit more aggressive clinical behaviors compared with those with BRAFV600E and RET fusions.展开更多

文摘Ischemic stroke is the leading cause of death in the Chinese population.The incidence of cerebral infarction is higher in high-altitude regions,particularly those above 3,500 m,than in populations residing at lower altitudes[1].There are various speculations regarding the mechanisms behind this phenomenon,one of which is that the low oxygen content and cold climate at high altitudes may increase the occurrence of vascular diseases[2].The multifactorial effect of high-altitude environments on residential populations makes it challenging for researchers to determine the specific pathways through which these diseases occur.

文摘Objective This study aimed to explore the association between body mass index(BMI)and mortality based on the 10-year population-based multicenter prospective study.Methods A general population-based multicenter prospective study was conducted at four sites in rural China between 2013 and 2023.Multivariate Cox proportional hazards models and restricted cubic spline analyses were used to assess the association between BMI and mortality.Stratified analyses were performed based on the individual characteristics of the participants.Results Overall,19,107 participants with a sum of 163,095 person-years were included and 1,910 participants died.The underweight(<18.5 kg/m^(2))presented an increase in all-cause mortality(adjusted hazards ratio[aHR]=2.00,95%confidence interval[CI]:1.66–2.41),while overweight(≥24.0 to<28.0 kg/m^(2))and obesity(≥28.0 kg/m^(2))presented a decrease with an aHR of 0.61(95%CI:0.52–0.73)and 0.51(95%CI:0.37–0.70),respectively.Overweight(aHR=0.76,95%CI:0.67–0.86)and mild obesity(aHR=0.72,95%CI:0.59–0.87)had a positive impact on mortality in people older than 60 years.All-2 cause mortality decreased rapidly until reaching a BMI of 25.7 kg/m(aHR=0.95,95%CI:0.92–0.98)and increased slightly above that value,indicating a U-shaped association.The beneficial impact of being overweight on mortality was robust in most subgroups and sensitivity analyses.Conclusion This study provides additional evidence that overweight and mild obesity may be inversely related to the risk of death in individuals older than 60 years.Therefore,it is essential to consider age differences when formulating health and weight management strategies.
文摘BACKGROUND Negative pressure wound therapy(NPWT)is a potential treatment for diabetic foot ulcers(DFUs),although the mechanisms underlying its effectiveness remain unclear.This study posits that NPWT may improve wound healing by promoting angiogenesis and activating the nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2(Nrf2)/Kelch-like epichlorohydrin-associated protein 1(Keap1)signaling pathway,which is crucial for the body’s defense against oxidative stress.The hypothesis indicates that enhancing antioxidant defenses through NPWT may positively affect the healing process.There are still limited data on the roles of Nrf2,its downstream signaling molecules,and angiogenesis markers in patients undergoing NPWT.AIM To study the mechanism of NPWT in DFUs.METHODS This study included a total of 40 hospitalized patients with DFUs from Xuzhou Central Hospital,who were divided into Control group(n=21)and NPWT group(n=19).The levels of Nrf2 and Keap1 were analyzed in the granulation tissue 7 days after treatment.The wound condition,erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),procalcitonin(PCT),interleukin 6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α),vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),basic fibroblast growth factor(b-FGF),cluster of differentiation 31(CD31),and levels of oxidative stress[malondialdehyde(MDA),superoxide dismutase(SOD),catalase(CAT),and total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC)]were analyzed before and 7 days after treatment by the Mann-Whitney U test.RESULTS The NPWT group demonstrated significant improvements in wound healing compared to the control group after 7 days of treatment.The levels of ESR,PCT,IL-6,and TNF-αwere significantly reduced in the NPWT group compared to the control group(P<0.05),while the levels of CD31,VEGF,and b-FGF showed significant increases(P<0.05).The NPWT group exhibited notable elevations in the levels of Nrf2 and its downstream targets(SOD,CAT,and T-AOC),accompanied by decreases in the levels of Keap1 and MDA(P<0.05).CONCLUSION NPWT may contribute to the healing of DFUs by potentially reducing levels of oxidative stress.Its effects could possibly be enhanced through the action of Nrf2.

文摘In thermal protection structures,controlling and optimizing the surface roughness of carbon/phenolic(C/Ph)composites can effectively improve thermal protection performance and ensure the safe operation of carriers in high-temperature environments.This paper introduces a machine learning(ML)framework to forecast the surface roughness of carbon-phenolic composites under various thermal conditions by employing an ML algorithm derived from historical experimental datasets.Firstly,ablation experiments and collection of surface roughness height data of C/Ph composites under different thermal environments were conducted in an electric arc wind tunnel.Then,an ML model based on Ridge regression is developed for surface roughness prediction.The model involves incorporating feature engineering to choose the most concise and pertinent features,as well as developing an ML model.The ML model considers thermal environment parameters and feature screened by feature engineering as inputs,and predicts the surface height as the output.The results demonstrate that the suggested ML framework effectively anticipates the surface shape and associated surface roughness parameters in various heat flow conditions.Compared with the conventional 3D confocal microscope scanning,the method can obtain the surface topography information of the same area in a much shorter time,thus significantly saving time and cost.

文摘[Objectives]This study was conducted to improve the purification agent combination conditions for QuEChERS and establish a method for detecting the residues of 18 fungicides in animal-derived foods(fish,pork,milk,eggs,and pork liver)using high-performance liquid chromatography-triple quadrupole tandem mass spectrometry.[Methods]The samples were extracted with acetonitrile,purified with 885 mg of magnesium sulfate,150 mg of PSA(ethylenediamine-N-propylsilane silica gel),and 15 mg of GCB(graphitized carbon black),and analyzed using ACQUITY UPLC BEH C 18 as the chromatographic column with a mobile phase of acetonitrile-0.1%formic acid aqueous solution.[Results]The 18 fungicides showed good linearity in the range of 5.00–200.00μg/L,with correlation coefficients(R^(2))greater than 0.991.The limit of quantification(LOQ)was 0.01 mg/kg.The average recoveries ranged from 63.7%to 117.5%,and the relative standard deviations(RSDs)were between 0.22%and 6.33%.[Conclusions]This method is simple,rapid,and highly accurate,and provides technical reference for the detection and risk assessment of fungicides in animal-derived foods.

文摘The operational state of distillation columns significantly impacts product quality and production efficiency.However,due to the complex operation and diverse influencing factors,ensuring the safety and efficient operation of the distillation columns becomes paramount.This research combines passive acoustic monitoring with artificial intelligence techniques,proposed a technology based on residual network(ResNet),which involves the transformation of the acoustic signals emitted by three distillation columns under different operating states.The acoustic signals were initially in one-dimensional waveform format and then converted into two-dimensional Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficients spectrogram database using fast Fourier transform.Ultimately,this database was employed to train a ResNet for the purpose of identifying the operational states of the distillation columns.Through this approach,the operational states of distillation columns were monitored.Various faults,including flooding,entrainment,dry-tray,etc.,were diagnosed with an accuracy of 98.91%.Moreover,an intermediate transitional state between normal operation and fault was identified and accurately recognized by the proposed method.Under the transitional state,the acoustic signals achieved an accuracy of 97.85%on the ResNet,which enables early warnings before faults occur,enhancing the safety of chemical production processes.The approach presents a powerful tool for the monitoring and diagnosis of chemical equipment,particularly distillation columns,ensuring the safety and efficiency.
文摘Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and toxicity of the combination regimen of paclitaxel, cisplatin and 5-FU (PCF) as first-line or second-line therapy in patients with advanced gastric and esophagogastric junction (EGJ) adenocarcinoma in China. Methods: The patients were treated with paclitaxel 150 mg/m2 on dl; fractionated cisplatin 15 mg/m2 and continuous infusion 5-FU 600 mg/(mLd) intravenously on d 1-d5 of a 21-d cycle until disease progression or unacceptable toxicities. Results: Seventy-five patients have been enrolled, among which, 41 received PCF regimen as the first-line therapy (group A) and 34 received the regimen as the second-line therapy (group B) with the median age of 59 years old and Karnofsky performance status (KPS) score 〉80. Toxicities were analyzed in all 75 patients. Seventy-one patients were evaluable for efficacy. The median overall survival (mOS) was 12.0 months (95% CI: 7.9-16.2 months) in group A and 7.3 months (95% CI: 4.3-10.3 months) in group B, respectively. The median progression-free survival (mPFS) was 5.7 months (95% CI: 4.1-7.2 months) and 5.0 months (95% CI: 3.1-6.9 months), respectively. The response rate (CR^PR) was 40% (16/40; 95% CI: 24.9-56.7%) in group A and 22.6% (7/31; 95% CI: 9.6-41.1%) in group B. Major grade 3 or 4 adverse events include neutropenia (41.3 %), febrile neutropenia (9.3 %), nausea/anorexia (10.7%), and vomiting (5.3 %). There was no treatment-related death. Conclusions: The combination chemotherapy with PCF is active and tolerable as first-line and second- line therapy in Chinese patients with advanced gastric and EGJ adenocarcinoma. The response and survival of PCF are same as those of DCF, but the tolerance is much better.

文摘Theε-Ga2O3 p-n heterojunctions(HJ)have been demonstrated using typical p-type oxide semiconductors(NiO or SnO).Theε-Ga2O3 thin film was heteroepitaxial grown by metal organic chemical vapor deposition(MOCVD)with three-step growth method.The polycrystalline SnO and NiO thin films were deposited on theε-Ga2O3 thin film by electron-beam evaporation and thermal oxidation,respectively.The valence band offsets(VBO)were determined by x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)to be 2.17 eV at SnO/ε-Ga2O3 and 1.7 eV at NiO/ε-Ga2O3.Considering the bandgaps determined by ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy,the conduction band offsets(CBO)of 0.11 eV at SnO/ε-Ga2O3 and 0.44 eV at NiO/ε-Ga2O3 were obtained.The type-Ⅱband diagrams have been drawn for both p-n HJs.The results are useful to understand the electronic structures at theε-Ga2O3 p-n HJ interface,and design optoelectronic devices based onε-Ga2O3 with novel functionality and improved performance.

文摘Objective: Patients with radioactive iodine-refractory differentiated thyroid cancer(RAIR-DTC) are often diagnosed with delay and constrained to limited treatment options. The correlation between RAI refractoriness and the underlying genetic characteristics has not been extensively studied.Methods: Adult patients with distant metastatic DTC were enrolled and assigned to undergo next-generation sequencing of a customized 26-gene panel(Thyro Lead). Patients were classified into RAIR-DTC or non-RAIR groups to determine the differences in clinicopathological and molecular characteristics. Molecular risk stratification(MRS) was constructed based on the association between molecular alterations identified and RAI refractoriness, and the results were classified as high, intermediate or low MRS.Results: A total of 220 patients with distant metastases were included, 63.2% of whom were identified as RAIRDTC. Genetic alterations were identified in 90% of all the patients, with BRAF(59.7% vs. 17.3%), TERT promoter(43.9% vs. 7.4%), and TP53 mutations(11.5% vs. 3.7%) being more prevalent in the RAIR-DTC group than in the non-RAIR group, except for RET fusions(15.8% vs. 39.5%), which had the opposite pattern. BRAF and TERT promoter are independent predictors of RAIR-DTC, accounting for 67.6% of patients with RAIR-DTC. MRS was strongly associated with RAI refractoriness(P<0.001), with an odds ratio(OR) of high to low MRS of 7.52 [95%confidence interval(95% CI), 3.96-14.28;P<0.001] and an OR of intermediate to low MRS of 3.20(95% CI,1.01-10.14;P=0.041).Conclusions: Molecular alterations were associated with RAI refractoriness, with BRAF and TERT promoter mutations being the predominant contributors, followed by TP53 and DICER1 mutations. MRS might serve as a valuable tool for both prognosticating clinical outcomes and directing precision-based therapeutic interventions.

文摘Clinical Practice Guideline on Acupuncture and Moxibustion:Nonspecific low back pain was revised and released by the Standards Working Committee of World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies(WFAS)on October 9,2023.This is the first clinical practice guideline(CPG)on acupuncture and moxibustion for nonspecific low back pain approved by an international academic organization,which provides the evidence-based recommendations and practical therapeutic protocols for international acupuncture practitioners.This CPG was developed by following Grades of Recommendation,Assessment,Development,and Evaluation(GRADE)methodology,and the Principles of the World Health Organization Handbook for Guideline Development.The guideline development group(GDG)from different countries,with different professions,played a critical role in the formulation of clinical questions,recommendations,and therapeutic protocols.Recommendations are the key content of a CPG and the direct answers to clinical questions.Hence,this article focuses on the recommendations of this CPG.The recommendations were formulated using the modified Delphi method and the GRADE grid rules,based on the updated systematic reviews of clinical evidence.A total of seven recommendations for ten clinical questions were formulated in this CPG,including one conditional recommendation for either the intervention or the comparison based on very low quality of evidence,and six conditional recommendations for the intervention based on very low quality of evidence.

文摘Impact, tensile, and fatigue tests were performed in In783 alloy serving 4000, 23,000 and 48,000 h. The microstructure was then analysed by optical microscopy(OM), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), and transmission electron microscopy(TEM) to probe the relationship between microstructure and properties. The results show that a new Ni_(5)Al_(3) phase is found, which grows gradually in β phase with serving time increasing,destroying the martensitic structure of the β phase, and degenerating the toughness of the β phase(approximately13.88% reduction). Therefore, the degradation of the βphase results in a sharp dropping of the resistance to stress accelerated grain boundary oxygen(SAGBO) during serving;thus, the intergranular fracture morphology degree increases with duration of service(almost 40% increase from the fractured surface). In addition, the strength of alloy will be gradually enhanced when the γ'phase becomes relatively bulky with serving time increasing due to considerable distortion of the dislocations as a result of the spacing of individual particles, in which any movement of the dislocation will have to overcome a larger number of obstacles per unit length.

文摘The recently deployed Transition Region Explorer(TREx)-RGB(red-green-blue)all-sky imager(ASI)is designed to capture“true color”images of the aurora and airglow.Because the 557.7 nm green line is usually the brightest emission line in visible auroras,the green channel of a TREx-RGB camera is usually dominated by the 557.7 nm emission.Under this rationale,the TREx mission does not include a specific 557.7 nm imager and is designed to use the RGB green-channel data as a proxy for the 557.7 nm aurora.In this study,we present an initial effort to establish the conversion ratio or formula linking the RGB green-channel data to the absolute intensity of 557.7 nm auroras,which is crucial for quantitative uses of the RGB data.We illustrate two approaches:(1)through a comparison with the collocated measurement of green-line auroras from the TREx spectrograph,and(2)through a comparison with the modeled green-line intensity according to realistic electron precipitation flux measurements from low-Earth-orbit satellites,with the aid of an auroral transport model.We demonstrate the procedures and provide initial results for the TREx-RGB ASIs at the Rabbit Lake and Lucky Lake stations.The RGB response is found to be nonlinear.Empirical conversion ratios or formulas between RGB green-channel data and the green-line auroral intensity are given and can be applied immediately by TREx-RGB data users.The methodology established in this study will also be applicable to the upcoming SMILE ASI mission,which will adopt a similar RGB camera system in its deployment.

文摘The 2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzyl(Hmb)backbone modification can prevent amide bond-mediated sidereactions(e.g.,aspartimide formation,peptide aggregation)by installing the removable Hmb group into a peptide bond,thus improving the synthesis of long and challenging peptides and proteins.However,its use is largely precluded by the limited Hmb’s installation sites.In this report,an improved installation of Hmb(iHmb)method was developed to achieve the flexible installation and the convenient removal of Hmb.The iHmb method involves two critical steps:(1)oxidative diazotization of the readily installed 2-hydroxy-4-methoxy-5-amino-benzyl(Hmab)to give 2-hydroxy-4-methoxy-5-diazonium-benzyl(Hmdab)by combining soamyl nitrite(IAN)/HBF_(4),and(2)reductive elimination of Hmdab to give the desired Hmb by 1,2-ethanedithiol(EDT).The iHmb method enables the installation of Hmb at any primary amino acid including the highly sterically hindered amino acids(e.g.,valine and isoleucine).The practicality and utility of the iHmb method was demonstrated by one-shot solid-phase synthesis of a challenging aspartimide-prone peptide,the mirror-image version of a hydrophobic peptide and a long-chain peptide up to 76-residue.Furthermore,the iHmb method can be utilized to facilitate chemical protein ligation,as exemplified by the synthesis of the single-spanning membrane protein sarcolipin.The iHmb method expands the toolkit for peptide synthesis and ligation and facilitates the preparation of peptides/proteins.

文摘The accurate and efficient analysis of anisotropic heat conduction problems in complex composites is crucial for structural design and performance evaluation. Traditional numerical methods, such as the finite element method(FEM), often face a trade-off between calculation accuracy and efficiency. In this paper, we propose a quasi-smooth manifold element(QSME) method to address this challenge, and provide the accurate and efficient analysis of two-dimensional(2D) anisotropic heat conduction problems in composites with complex geometry. The QSME approach achieves high calculation precision by a high-order local approximation that ensures the first-order derivative continuity.The results demonstrate that the QSME method is robust and stable, offering both high accuracy and efficiency in the heat conduction analysis. With the same degrees of freedom(DOFs), the QSME method can achieve at least an order of magnitude higher calculation accuracy than the traditional FEM. Additionally, under the same level of calculation error, the QSME method requires 10 times fewer DOFs than the traditional FEM. The versatility of the proposed QSME method extends beyond anisotropic heat conduction problems in complex composites. The proposed QSME method can also be applied to other problems, including fluid flows, mechanical analyses, and other multi-field coupled problems, providing accurate and efficient numerical simulations.

文摘The failure behavior of the three-dimensional(3D)woven composites under tension are evaluated via experimentation and simulation.To accurately depict the intricate geometry of the woven composites,including the fluctuation of yarn paths,variations in cross-section,and resin distribution,the image-aided digital elements modeling approach is employed.Subsequently,to further assess both the tensile performance and damage response,a realistic voxel model is established with the integration of a well-suited progressive damage model.The obtained stress-strain curves align with the experimental results,and damage progression and underlying mechanisms involved are clearly revealed.Specifically,when subjected to warp tension,severe transverse damage and fiber bundle pull-out towards the warp yarns are observed within the curved section.Similarly,under weft loading,longitudinal damage is found to occur in the weft yarns,while the warp yarns suffer from transverse damage,leading to the formation of a smooth and brittle crack.Ultimately,the findings of this study hold potential to advance the engineering applications of the3D woven composites.

文摘Objective:This study investigated the clinical significance of DICER1 mutations in patients with distant metastatic follicular cell-derived thyroid cancer(FDTC).Methods:This study included 310 Chinese patients with distant metastatic FDTC.We analyzed the interactions between DICER1 mutations and other gene alterations and compared the clinicopathological characteristics of patients with pathogenic(P)or likely pathogenic(LP)DICER1 mutations(n=9),other gene alterations(n=253),and no gene alterations(n=37).To compare FDTCs with different drivers,isolated BRAFV600E,RAS mutations,and RET fusions were compared with isolated DICER1 mutations.Results:The prevalence of DICER1 mutations was 6.5%(20/310)in the patient cohort.Among patients with DICER1 mutations,45%(9/20)harbored P or LP DICER1 variants and 55%(11/20)harbored DICER1 variants of uncertain significance(VUS).The coexistence of DICER1 mutations and other gene alterations was detected in65%(13/20)of patients.Compared with VUS,P or LP DICER1 variants were almost mutually exclusive with early driver alterations(such as BRAFV600E)(11.1%vs.81.8%,P=0.002)and more coexisted with late-hit events,particularly TP53 mutations(44.4%vs.27.3%,P=0.642).Clinically,compared with the no alteration and other alteration groups,the DICER1 mutation group exhibited larger primary tumors,higher poorly differentiated thyroid cancer proportion,more extrathyroidal extension,more extrapulmonary metastases,and higher radioactive iodine-refractory proportion(all P<0.05).Cases with isolated DICER1 mutations differed from those with isolated BRAFV600E and RET fusions in terms of tumor size,poorly differentiated thyroid cancer proportion,and metastatic sites,but were similar to cases with isolated RAS mutations in the high proportion of follicular thyroid cancer,N0,and extrapulmonary metastases.Conclusions:Mutation of DICER1 gene is a non-negligible molecular event and it may represent an aggressive subset of FDTCs.DICER1 has RAS-like clinical characteristics and DICER1-mutant tumors exhibit more aggressive clinical behaviors compared with those with BRAFV600E and RET fusions.

文摘[Objectives]This study was conducted to establish a method for determining residual coumoxystrobin in vegetables using QeEChERS-liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(QeEChERS-LC-MS/MS).[Methods]The sample was extracted by acetonitrile,and the extract was purified by QeEChERS,concentrated by nitrogen blowing,and then detected.[Results]Coumoxystrobin had a good linear relation in the range of 0.01-10.0 mg/kg,and the linear equation was y=4686.92×x+5683.28,R^(2)=0.999.The limit of detection was 0.001 mg/kg,and the limit of quantitation was 0.003 mg/kg.[Conclusions]The method has the advantages of convenient and fast operation and stable detection process,and can provide technical support for the supervision and monitoring of coumoxystrobin.
