泽库高寒草甸草地牧草随季节变化差异极大。五月初开始返青,八月份产草量最高可达4890公斤/公顷,九月底开始枯黄,十一月产草量只有750公斤/公顷(枯草);六、七月份混合牧草的营养成分最高,十一月后粗蛋白只有最高期的10~20%、粗脂肪30~40%、而粗纤维增加40%左右;五、六月份牧草的再生性较强,特别是高山嵩草,七月份以后明显下降。高寒草甸草地牧草整体再生能力较差。这一地区适宜搞季节性畜牧业生产。
Seasonal biomass change varied greatly in Zeku alpine meadow pasture. Grass started spring recovery growth in early may, and to senesce at the end of September. The forage yield was 4890kg/ha to the maximum in August, and 750kg/ha(dead grass) in November. The nutrilite of blend grasses is the highest during June and July. After November, crude protein and curde fat were only 10%~20% and 30%~40% respectively of that of the highest period, while crude fiber increased by 40% over the same period. In May and June, the grass regrowth ability was higher, especially Kobresia pygmea, but it decreased significantly after July. The integral grass regrowth ability in alpine meadow pasture was lower. Therefore, seasonal animal husbandry is suggested in this area.
