摘要
用高温熔融法制备了Er3+ ∶Yb3+ 共掺的锂硅酸盐玻璃 ,在室温下 ,用 976nm半导体激光器泵浦该掺铒玻璃 ,在 15 5 0nm波段实现强的荧光发射 ,中心波长为 1.5 399μm ,荧光半宽高为 5 7.4nm 研究结果表明 ,锂硅酸盐玻璃系统能接受非常高的Er3+ 、Yb3+ 掺杂率 ,有较宽的荧光线宽 ,且具有良好的化学稳定性和热稳定性 。
Yb 3+-Er 3+-codoped lithium silicate glass for fiber optics amplifiers are involved in this paper. Absorption from the 4I 15/2 ground state, emission spectra under the excitation of 976 nm laser diode have been performed at room temperature on these materials. The intense emission peak is located at 1.5399 μm, and the full-width at half-maximum (FWHM) is ~50 nm, corresponding to the 4I 13/2→ 4I 15/2 transition of the Er 3+ ion. The results indicate that lithium silicate glass is an attractive material for 1.55 μm optical amplifiers, because it exhibits a high solubility for Er 3+ and Yb 3+ ion, wide-band tenability, superior chemical resistance and compatibility to optical fibers.
