罗伯特·赫钦斯是 2 0世纪中叶美国著名的教育改革家和思想家。他在担任芝加哥大学校长期间 ,采取了卓有成效的教育改革措施 ,在教育实践基础上形成了独特的高等教育观点。他的大学观对我国高等教育改革与发展具有积极的启示和借鉴意义。
During his term of office as president of Chicago University, R. M. Hutchins, a celebrated educator and thinker, initiated a series of effective measures in terms of education reforms and gradually formed, on basis of practice, his unique views on higher education, which would be of considerable significance to the reforms in higher education in China.
