摘要
上世纪中期美国的博士生教育引入了博士生资格考试制度,并在实践中得到了不断的发展和完善,使其博士生教育水平处于世界领先地位。这样的发展过程对我国的博士生教育有着一定的启示意义。从目前的状况来看,我们应注重两个方面的改革:一是博士生招生制度的改革,二是博士生教学过程的改革。这两个改革的核心是推行博士生资格考试制度,实行淘汰制,体现博士生教育与硕士和本科教育的差异性,提高我国博士生教育的水平。
The qualification examination for doctors,introduced in doctor education programmes in the USA in the middle of last century,has developed and improved constantly,so that the USA takes the lead in doctor eduction around the world.This may be a revelation to us.As far as our country is concerned,we should focus on two aspects of reform:the enrollment mechanism and the education programmes,but the core of reform is to carry out the qualification examination and a knockout programme so as to differentiate doctor education programmes from education programmes for undergraduates and postgraduates. This paper describes the development of American doctor programmes,discusses the evolution of qualification examinations for doctor candidates,analyzes the system of qualification examinations and finally presents some points of view about the Chinese doctor education system based on an analysis.
