摘要
在美国文学史中 ,上帝形象随着社会、政治、经济、科学的发展不断发生变更。美国文学中的上帝经历着从“全在”到“隐在” ,再到“不在”的演变过程。上帝不在之后 ,文学又进入了寻找“上帝”的征程。
In American literature,the image of God has been changing with the development of politics,economy,history and society. The God image in the literature has changed from “Existence” to “Veiled Existence”,and then to “Non Existence”. After the “death of God,” the literature goes on the way to search for another “God”. This essay attempts to give a general description to the change of the God Image in American literature.
